Hiring a Shopify developer from Serbia

Do you work with brands outside of Serbia?

Yes - the vast majority of my clients are based outside Serbia. I work with brands across the US, UK, EU, Australia, and Canada. Being based in Serbia is a timezone and cost advantage for you, not a limitation. All communication is in English and projects run entirely remotely.

What does the CET timezone mean for US and UK clients?

CET (UTC+1) overlaps with UK mornings by several hours, and with US East Coast mornings (EST) by 5–6 hours. In practice this means same-day turnaround for most requests: you message in the morning, I respond or deliver by your afternoon. For US West Coast, asynchronous collaboration works very well - I deliver work overnight so you review it fresh in the morning.

How do I hire you - through Upwork or directly?

Both options work. Hiring directly (via this site) is simpler and faster - no platform fees, just a direct contract via email or a brief. Upwork is available if you prefer the platform's payment protection or your company requires it. Either way you get the same work and the same person.

Are your rates lower than Western European or US developers?
